About Jason
Hi, I'm Jason, I'm currently a student at an Ivy League in the US who is passionate about science and mathematics - as well as teaching! I am bilingual in English and French. I was born in France but have completed all my secondary education in the UK. At GCSE I achieved 12A*s and 4A*s at A-level. I want to help current students with their studies-particularly in the months leading up to exams!

I have particular experience in teaching GCSE and A-level students (including myself) how to achieve top grades WITHOUT the need to write ENDLESS notes - focusing instead on active learning/revision as well as making the most of existing resources. This technique becomes particularly useful for LAST MINUTE teaching/revision. In the past, I have managed to help students jump from a C to an A* in under 2 weeks! Whether you are looking for the teaching of tricky content or need to sharpen your exam technique - I would be excited to help! At sixth form I achieved 4A*s in A-level: Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Having sat these exams only last year, I have detailed knowledge of current specifications and the common traps that exam boards tend to use. At GCSE, I achieved 12A*s (9 grade 9s (including Further Maths and Astronomy) and 3 grade 8s). I am happy to share my passion for the sciences and maths as well as my knowledge of exam preparation with students from a primary school level to the end of A-level. The typical length of my lessons vary between 30mins and 2hr - although I find that 45mins-1hr tends to strike a healthy balance between the quantity of content covered and the quality of concentration!

Jason tutored me during my GCSEs in Physics and Maths. While I felt I knew most of the content, my grades were just not where I wanted them to be. He helped me master the topics I struggled with (eg potential divider circuits) but more importantly taught me so much about exam technique. His friendly lessons made studying less painful and gave me tips and tricks that ensured I was earning at least some marks on almost every question - this changed everything. After just a few weeks with Jason, my grades from two Bs (grades 5 and 6) to solid A*s (two 9s)! I could not recommend him enough.
