About Kar Enn
I am a dedicated and passionate Mathematics tutor who aims to help students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Having achieved an A* in Cambridge A-Level Mathematics, I understand the challenges students face when learning advanced mathematics and can provide guidance from a student’s perspective.
My teaching style focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace. I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics with the right guidance, clear explanations, and consistent practice.
With experience in tutoring Mathematics, I am committed to helping students strengthen their fundamentals, improve problem-solving skills, and develop effective exam techniques. I carefully tailor my lessons according to each student’s learning needs, whether they are aiming to improve their grades, prepare for examinations, or gain greater confidence in the subject.

I believe that effective mathematics learning comes from building a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult topics into simpler steps, helping students understand the reasoning behind each method, and applying concepts confidently to different types of exam questions.
During lessons, I will first identify the student’s strengths and areas for improvement before tailoring the materials and pace according to their learning needs. I use a combination of concept explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions to strengthen both understanding and problem-solving skills. I also emphasize learning effective answering techniques and common exam strategies to help students improve their performance.
A typical lesson will last around 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing enough time for explanation, practice, and discussion of questions. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where they can build confidence in mathematics.
I achieved an A* in Cambridge A-Level Mathematics and have experience tutoring Mathematics students. Having recently completed A-Level Mathematics myself, I understand the challenges students face and can provide guidance from a student’s perspective, including effective revision methods and exam preparation strategies.
My lessons are suitable for A-Level Mathematics students and pre-university students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve their grades, and gain confidence in tackling challenging mathematics problems.
