About Jakob
I'm a sixth form student studying mathematics, further mathematics, philosophy and graphic design with predictions A*A*AA. I achieved grade 9 in GCSE maths and further maths and am currently applying for mathematics at university. I am quite frankly in love with mathematics, and love teaching the subject for any level student in any format from high level discussions to help with schoolwork; whether you're a student interested in studying the subject to a high level and hoping to build a strong foundation of KS3-4 mathematics, or a student interested in maths-relevant subjects like physical sciences, psychology, design, art and engineering looking for help achieving their best in this core subject.

Clarity and communication is my central goal. Lessons will be student-led and see a combination of exploration of ideas and exam practise, the exact structure and intensity of a lesson is flexible and tailored to your needs and grade level as a student. Each lesson will focus on a single topic or skill and aims to build confidence in understanding in that area, not memorisation. Homework is optional and tailored to the student's workload.
