About Max
My name is Max Berry. I would like to tutor because I believe I have the ability to enhance the skills of any a level maths student, regardless of their ability. I will offer insightful approaches to questions, will provide detailed descriptions on the theory behind particularly topics, allowing them to be understood clearer. I enjoy helping tutees reach their full potential and overcoming obstacles that may have previously hindered their passion or confidence in the subject.
Tutoring also gives me an opportunity to learn from the student, and understand how their brain works. Each individual provides me with a new techniques of learning, allowing me to improve my own studying and teaching skills.

My teaching is largely dependant on the tutee. However I will try and incorporate a variety of methods generally that I believe are key to achieving the top grades. These include; detailed explanations on the theory behind certain topics, as well as assisted and independent past paper questions.
The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, but could always adapt with lesson timings if somebody needed more time than this.
I am about to receive my A level results, which I am predicted an A* in further maths and Maths. I achieved two A*s in maths and further maths at GCSE level. I have experience in tutoring from SATS level teaching, through to GCSE and A level standard.
My lessons are for any students sitting their A level maths or further maths, who would like to enhance their ability during the summer, as I believe this is a time where students can gain a massive advantage in their studies.
