About Chelle
I am a maths and science student, hoping to study medicine next year at University. I achieved very high GCSE's and have previously taught small groups of 11+ classes ranging from Year 2 - Year 6. I have also done student mentoring for year 7 - year 9. I am also very musical and I play the guitar to a high level, I also play the piano, drums and violin at a very basic level. I have been giving private lessons for over 2 years now. I also run. studying account where I provide advice for all ages.

My teaching method focuses on explaining and understanding the core basics before progressing on to harder things. I work with a mark scheme and alongside the specification for GCSE students so that they understand what is required of them from the exam board themselves. For all years, I use exam papers as practice to check their understanding and also to help them to recognise question types. When walking in small groups instead of one on one, I often find it helpful for the children to peer explain. This is because often, hearing things from your age mates allows concepts to click more than a teacher might.
