About Niam
Myjourney in education was never easy, I understand there’s highs and lows added onto the immense pressure of doing wel in a single exam. Growing up I was a C grade student but during GCSEs a tutor helped me become a grade 9 student through mentoring and precision. Since then I’ve always wanted to give the same time to another child to better their education and perform the way I know they can. A child’s academic experience is a journey which over the past two years have been privileged to help enhance. Tutoring and mentoring previous children to grade 5s to grade 9s, seeing them grow into confident individuals. During GCSEs and a levels I found a love for maths and science in which I decided to teach over the years and master the craft of the delivery to young children. I understand education is daunting, it brought me anxiety, stress and exhaustion but I believe with the right guide you can tackle the exams. As at the end of the day personal development and confidence in your ability is more important.

Initially the first sessions free of charge is to assess the child’s ability. Through various exam questions I can assess and lay out a plan specific for the child before the tutoring begins. Overall the lesson consists of a short starter to warm up the brain, then a deep walk through of a topic with intercalated exam questions and demonstrations. Lastly the exam questions to ensure accurate answers in exam conditions. Having just finished education myself I understand the pressures of exams, hence why I ensure each child maintains a steady balance if work over academic years.
