About Gemma
I have given casual private lessons to friends for over two years, particularly during GCSE years. I helped one friend go from grade 2/3's in maths to a solid grade 5. I also helped another friend achieve a grade 7. I achieved a grade 8 in mathematics and am now completing an A-level in maths which consists of pure, mechanics and statistical maths so I am constantly using my skills and refreshing my memory of topics.

I give lessons to GCSE students and below. I like to outline the topics that an individual doesn't understand and then cover those topics by building up the complexity; going from the basics to the more complex methods. I also like to give multiple explanations if possible as I understand that not everyone will understand the first explanation.
