About Sophia
Hello, I’m Sophia I’m a Cambridge based tutor with experience in both GCSE and A Level English literature. Achieving 9 grades in both English literature and English language at GCSE, with full marks on coursework and 98% in written papers, I am confident in helping you succeed at GCSE level English literature and language. Within A Level studies, my prediction of A*, with an AS Level grade of A*, ensures that I have the practical knowledge and skills to help you achieve the grade you want. Beyond the classroom, I adore English as both a subject and language and would be keen to help you in any way possible with all things English

My lessons will consist of a 5 minute beginners consultation to discuss what areas, topics or skills we would be focusing on most. I tailor my tutoring on the people I work with, whether that be practice papers, more visual centred learning with maps or memory building through active recall. I am committed to changing my teaching style to fit the student.
