About Freddy
I am 16 years of age looking to expand my knowledge and experiences with social interactions and to share my recent growth with Mathematics.
I have a huge passion for sports like football, golf, swimming and gym. My growth for Maths stemmed from these sports because I began to realise the self-importance of Maths with the thing i love.
Commonly, you would expect a Maths student to be full of unnecessary information or aren’t sociable at all. Which all of my friends and I thought you would be, yet I had to exceed my grades in order to continue being alongside my friends so i had to tackle Maths because it was the only thing going for me. So i just conquered Maths with real life scenarios that I love and admire. For example, in the topic of functions I relate the common question of “range” to a golfing range and how golf balls are hit outwards just like an output i.e the y-values.
Even so, everyone has different passions and experiences but are enforced to complete maths. I aim to accomplish to connect your passions with the subject to like I did

Tutoring for 14-16 year olds that are learning Edexcel GCSE Higher or Foundation Mathematics and struggle to learn in class due to teachers lack of individual focus.
I offer day-to-day scenarios that link to all of the mathematics you will learn, cannot make sense of and need strengthening. I also, can relate to students that feel they are losing time as they get closer to their exams because I was a grade 5 student that achieved a grade 8 all within 3 months. Continuing on with A-levels, that has predicted grades of 3 A*’s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and DT Product Design.
Honestly, I am new to the online tutoring experience, yet I have supported Year 10s individually and on a class size level. I uncovered their strength and weaknesses, plus how they think when attempting a question. As an outcome of my success towards these students, I am thankfully soon to be teaching Year 11s GCSE Further Maths content with another.
I would begin in understanding what you would orderly want to achieve in any time period. At present you with the whole syllabus you learn, so that we can both identify areas you have no clue about, missed out on or lack the confidence to tackle every question related in front of you.
Then we would tackle a higher/foundation exam question, so we can evaluate how secure you are in that general area. Digressing to teaching, refining or polishing your techniques and reasoning for why GCSE Maths is making you learn this.
