About Isaac
I am a 17 year old year A-level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as taking part in various musical and sporting co-curricular activities at my school, such as having diplomas in both the flute and saxophone, as well as being an avid waterpolo and rugby player.
I got nine grade 9s and one grade 8 in my GCSEs and i hope to go on a study chemistry at university after my A levels, in which I am predicted 4 A*s.

I believe that the best way to learn is through understanding, not just memorising facts, which is why I think that learning from someone who recently got nine grade 9s in their GCSEs is really helpful given that I have first hand experience in trying to understand parts of a course that a teacher may not believe need explaining.
My lessons can typically run from 1 to 2 hours depending on how much is needed to completely understand a topic/s. I think that the best way to revise during GCSEs is not to spend hours writing notes but to actively learn from your mistakes by answering practice questions and create useful resources on these mistakes to ensure you don’t make them again.
I have experience in tutoring 9 to 11 year olds at a homework club, as well as mentoring year 7s and 6s through projects, however I believe my knowledge in just completing my GCSEs with top marks gives me the first hand knowledge to help another student improve their grade.
