About Matea
I am an A-level student of Spanish with an A* expected grade and a grade 9 in my Spanish GCSE.
I have a love and a passion for Spanish and hope to inspire a similar appreciation for the language in others. I also achieved a 9 in my French GCSE and have a love of languages in general.
I have lived in the United States, Denmark and now the UK and have travelled to approximately 25 countries inspiring my love of languages and culture.
My Mother was born in Peru and my Grandmother is Chilean however I have the knowledge of Spain Spanish from my GCSE and A-level. Therefore, I am able to understand and identify the subtle differences between South American Spanish and that of Spain.

As a student who recently received a 9 in Spanish GCSE, I have numerous up-to-date resources for achieving exceptional grades in these examinations. Also, as an A-level student I have access to many useful materials and booklets to help focus on more complex areas of grammar.
For younger students I would focus on learning vocabulary and simple phrases in a fun and interesting way such as games and activities.
My lessons would be an hour to allow students to immerse themselves in the language. For younger students a shorter lesson could be advisable due to smaller attention spans.
