About Jakub
I'm 18, currently studying A Levels and recently did my GCSE's, where I achieved 9's in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, 8's in History,English (lit and lang), Music and a 7 in French.
I think tutoring is something I find very motivating as it allows me to encapsulate the interest, and convey the concepts of Maths and Physics that I found and still find completely fascinating, I really want to impart this feeling, as well as helping students succeed in Exams.
In lockdowns I taught myself a lot of Undergraduate level Maths + Physics, which opened my eyes to how vast and interesting Maths and Physics are. I am looking to study Maths and go into Academia.
I have applied for Oxford, Imperial,Durham,Bristol & Exeter Universities.

The lessons, would be an online video call, I have a Graphics Tablet which allows me to have an interactive whiteboard throughout lessons, where I will generally go through A LOT of examples to really clarify any concepts to students. It is also important that pupils can feel comfortable in struggling and not feel they cannot ask for help. Close to exams we'd usually go through Past Papers together (exam technique is a very important skill) which I feel I can offer a lot of help in having recently had to go through as a student. There will also be an emphasis on Problem Solving, and being able to see some of the more interesting areas of Mathematics and Physics that students are often not shown.
I can do lessons for 45mins-2hours.
I've tutored in my school, and found it very gratifying. I can offer help to Secondary Students for GCSE Maths, Additional Maths, Physics.
I believe anyone should have access to tutoring so can be flexible with pricing.
