About Yash
I am a 17 year old 6th form student attending a top grammar school in Croydon. I have a deep passion not only for learning but also for passing on knowledge via teaching, hence I am excited to offer my services of tutoring to enable you to maximise your academic potential. I focus on making learning simple, clear, and confidence-building. Instead of just giving answers, I guide students step by step so they understand why something works. I use practice questions, real-life examples, and interactive discussions to keep lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. Teaching Methodology Start each session with a quick check of what the student already knows. Break topics into small, manageable chunks. Use worked examples, then let the student try with support. I aim to provide lessons that enable understanding and clarity while giving young students the confidence to take on more challenging concepts through personalised lessons based on their strengths and weaknesses. I am a Sixth Form student in London, currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics and History. I’ve recently gone through GCSEs myself (achieving all 9s), so I have up-to-date knowledge of the specifications and what examiners are looking for. I’ve helped younger students informally with homework and revision as well as providing 11+ tutoring in the past, which has given me confidence to progress my tutoring to a professional level. I can offer lessons for students in KS3 - KS4 (Year 7 -11), whether this is with grasping the fundamentals of new subjects or with advanced, complex topics required to achieve top grades.
