About Disha
I am a 18-year-old 6th form student and currently completing my Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-levels and achieved an A in Further Maths. I’m predicted all A* at A-level and I want to study Medicine at university. I am an ambitious, committed, and ready to be a pro-active tutor.
I'm driven and passionate about my subjects and can easily pass this on to my students.
VOLUNTEER • CANCER RESEARCH CHARITY SHOP • SEPT 2020 – JUNE 2020
Responsibilities include stocking, tagging and moving items to the shop floor. I often help customers when working on shop floor.
TUTOR • NOVEMBER 2O19 – CURRENT
Tutored many students in and out of school, I currently tutor a Year 9 student in Maths, Biology and Chemistry independently.
MINI SPORTS VOLUNTEER • HORIZONS SPORTS CLUB • SEPT 2020 - CURRENT
I am a volunteer for children with disabilities. I help them to play some sport and aim to slowly guide them out of there comfort zone and stimulate them.

I teach via Zoom through Powerpoints and live calculations/drawings on a tablet when needed (especially when teaching Maths or Physics). Lessons usually last an hour where I focus on a topic the student has brought forward. I always pay close attention to the specification and make sure to go through practice questions for the best results. I have mentored students in school and have tutored students externally. I achieved 10 grade 9s at GCSE and an A in Additional Maths. I have also achieved an A in Further Maths AS Level. I am currently studying Maths, Biology, and Chemistry A Level.
