I'm eager to give students an opportunity to be successful in their math class. In my years in the classroom as well as a tutor, the highlight of my experience has always been when a student feels like their coursework is finally accessible and doable. I enjoy getting to know the students I work with and am happy to tailor my approach to best fit the student.
Outside of math, I love trying a new recipe, taking drives along the lakeside and catching up on the worst of reality television. I especially love hanging out with my baby boy and watching him learn and grow every day!

Sessions can take place either online via Zoom or in-person at the library or a coffee shop.
Tutoring sessions are not just "homework help" (though we definitely can do that when needed!).
Tutoring sessions will be much more than that!
I ask that the student has their course outline and calendar available as well as any materials or books their teacher has given them for their course. This will help me to tailor our sessions to what is specifically covered in your course.
During a session, the student will receive individualized learning opportunities. This will often include:
-Homework review or assistance
-Mini-Lesson of current skills
-Activities and practice work to reinforce skills
-Review of previous coursework
-Preview of upcoming skills
-Upcoming test and quiz preparation
-Previous test and quiz review
-Tips and techniques for studying for a math class
