About Gabriela
I obtained my Bachelor's of Psychology in 2011 from Tarleton State University and my Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2013 from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I have been working as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2013 and have always maintained high-quality clinical care to patients and have worked well with fellow therapists. My experience has been with children and adolescents, military and adults. I am trained in DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused approaches. I love learning and I love teaching others. My experience can help you become a stronger student by using individualized lesson plans to help you optimize learning and retention.

Let me be a part of your educational team! I want to help you become as confident and knowledgeable within your desired subject. I provide a safe and welcoming environment for you to develop and grow. I can help you learn how to better understand concepts and theories within the psychology world. We can go over case studies to help conceptualize situations to help improve comprehension and use reality-based scenarios to ensure understanding. We can also practice social skills and communication skills, you tell me what you need and we can work together to achieve your goals. All ages welcome! I will also assist with state exam preparations.
