About Jayni
Being a Licensed Physician, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (Major) & Political Science (Minor). As a Political Science Minor, I have experience writing college-level essays. As I applied to medical schools, I wrote a main personal statement & many supplemental essays. Through medical school, I participated in extracurricular activities that often required essay submissions. To apply for medical residency training, I wrote a graduate-level personal statement & received 15+ interview invites. Finally, as I'm passionate about writing, I have revised a variety of essays for family & friends, who incorporated my input into their submitted essays.

In addition to proofreading & revising, I aim to share principles & strategies of effective writing with students. By incorporating this approach into our sessions, I hope to foster skills & confidence that enable my students to write independently in the future. To achieve this goal, I'm detail-oriented & encourage students to dissect their writing, brainstorm, & explore themes of effective writing with me.
