About James
I am a licensed teacher in California and have taught in the classroom and virtually for over 8 years. I have a Master's degree in Education, a Bachelor's in Economics, and graduated summa cum laude. I am currently a full-time teacher at a public school where I teach Math and Science in grades 3-8.
Outside of my time teacher, I volunteer at a local performing arts theatre company and spend a lot of time with my sweet dog, Taco.

My approach to building a lesson is centered around a student's prior knowledge and goals. We will assess where you are and determine where you want to be, and then build a path to that goal. I believe, as a tutor, my priority is my student's success and desired outcomes and we will work as a team to forge that path together.
