About David
I spent most of my career in software development where I directed teams and mentored numerous software developers. More recently, while working on a Masters in Mathematics at Sorbonne University in Paris, I worked as a teaching assistant for a class on numerical linear algebra.
I currently teach basic mathematics to children at an in-person learning center in Honolulu.

Like learning a sport or learning to play a musical instrument, learning math requires practice. Working through problems by hand is the only way to really learn math. And that's we'll do. We'll work through various problems step by step by step by step. Every step counts!
A few comments...
1. I currently tutor kids in basic math, so I'm specifically looking for college students or very advanced high school students.
2. My rates are totally negotiable.
3. Group lessons are also an option.
4. I live in Waikiki and I don't have a car. In-person lessons are possible but it depends on the location.
