I use the CLT (Communicative Language Teaching Method) but really I want to cater my lessons around my students based off of needs and personal goals. be it conversational English versus Business English.
Typically I like to start with a warm up of a word, phrase, song lyric, news flash, etc up with current events.
Dive headfirst into a guided presentation/ or written break down of the conversational goal at hand. assistance with voice and voiceless consonants, word stress, intonation.
After we will have a focused practice to get the rhythm right, that way we will have you speaking like a native in no time!
I will then give you a related task to take home that way you expand your knowledge of English Culture.
I love to motivate my students to use the tools at hand and get engrossed/ submerged within the language learning process. Satiate your own curiosity become your own teacher, i am simply a guide, a mentor whom is here to catch you when you fall.
I Prefer students who already have basic words or phrases who are looking to gain more advanced fluidity and recall. Most of my experience is with more students with a high English proficiency whom just need English practice but I'm excited to have my first beginners!
