About Hillary
I have been tutoring since I was in High School when I offered help to peers. I tutored during college through my university's Writing center and taught group classes on essay construction. While I was working on my Master's in TESOL, I taught ESL courses at ASU to our Global Launch Students. My next teaching adventure was teaching 3rd grade and 8th grade at Title I schools as a Guest Teacher in order to help bring up their student's test scores.

I approach each session by evaluating each student's strengths and learning style. Once, I know these I adapt my lessons to their learning style and help them use their strengths to combat their weaknesses. I strongly believe that there are no "naturally smart" people and that anyone willing to work had can learn and master any subject.

Details
If I need to travel over 10 miles to the student's home the cost is an additional $5 per 5 miles. I require 24 hours notice of a cancelled lesson or there will be a $15 charge.
