About Meilin
Hello! My name is Meilin
I lived and studied in Japan for around seven years and graduated from a Japanese university during that time. Through both academic study and daily life experience, I developed a strong understanding of practical, natural Japanese communication and culture.
I recently completed my Master’s degree in Psychology in the UK, which also helped me build a patient, supportive, and student-focused approach to teaching and communication.
Chinese is my native language, I speak English fluently, and I am currently also learning Portuguese myself — so I truly understand both the excitement and challenges of learning a new language from the beginning.
I especially enjoy helping beginners feel more comfortable and confident with Japanese in a relaxed and encouraging environment. My lessons focus on practical communication, natural pronunciation, and building confidence step by step rather than stressful memorisation.

Hi! I studied and lived in Japan for several years, graduated from a Japanese university, and hold a JLPT N1 certificate. I also have experience with real-life Japanese communication and daily life in Japan.
