About Katherine
I am a philosophy and computer science major with a cumulative 3.94 GPA. I have a love for the simplicity of logic and am looking to teach relevant topics. With me, you will learn how to use logical notation to represent sentences and arguments. Additionally, you will be able to assess arguments and determine if they are valid and/or sound. We will also focus on natural deduction to illustrate how conclusions are derived from their premises.

I will not be a tutor that simply lectures or talks at my students. It is my policy to teach using a Socratic questioning method that encourages learning through dialogue and conversation. I believe that this is the best way to keep students engaged and it is the best way for me to assess the understanding of my students.
