About Allya
I am a London-based Law student currently in my second-year of Law school. Achieving two A's at A-Level for both English and French, I feel that I am able to share my knowledge with those who need it. I have informal teaching experience since the age 16; giving private tuition to my family members, including siblings. They have all achieved A*-C's at GCSE level and are now currently doing their A-Levels.

I am a second-year Law student with 11 GCSE's A*-A and 3 A Levels (French, Politics and English Literature), awarded AAA. I am available to give lessons to primary school students up to A-Level.
A normal lesson with me will include an overview of the topic before letting the child work on their own, answering questions on worksheets that I produce by myself. If I am doing one-on-one tuition, I tend to focus on what the student finds the most difficult and help them in those areas. If the student needs more help and attention, I sit with them and we go through the question one by one together. I follow the same format when teaching groups of children however, I split the workload to suit the child's level when it's time for individual reflection using work sheets.
For secondary school children, I tend to not use worksheets but rather exam questions to prepare them for their Summer exams.
I would describe my teaching style as attentive, caring, encouraging and patient. I understand that some students may have low confidence when it comes to school work thus, my job consists of instilling that confidence in them.
