I qualified in TEFL in 1990 at International House in London. Since that time, I have taught in person in language schools in London, in person private lessons, homeschooled my 3 children to university acceptance, taught hundreds of students on several different teaching platforms, and started my own private tutoring business working with over 50 students from 26 countries. About the lesson

Hello everyone! My name is Maria and I am a qualified and experienced English tutor. I have worked for more than 17 years teaching English to both native and non-native students from ages 4 to 64. I adapt every lesson to the individual needs of my students. I listen, assess and then focus on the areas that will help YOU succeed in your specific goals.
I encourage mistakes with repetition reinforcement and use a variety of materials to target the following areas:
Commonly used grammar structures
New vocabulary and expressions
Listening and Reading Comprehension
Speaking and pronunciation skills

I specialize in Business English and Accent Reduction but can tailor a plan for any goal you desire.

professional and tries to adapt her lessons for every single student. Maria is a very lively woman
and lessons never get boring with her. I am glad i found her because thanks to her way of
