About Ondotimi
I am a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with over ten years experience in legal practice and excellent knowledge of the English Common law systems. I am also currently a PhD candidate at the University of Dundee researching policy and legal perspectives of community benefit sharing in energy projects. I have advanced legal knowledge in most common law courses such as Law of Contract, Business Law, Law of Torts, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law. I am specialised in Energy Law, Natural Resources Law, Oil and Gas Law (Petroleum Law), Environmental Law, Climate Change Law, and Human Rights Law. I am also an exam invigilator with lots of experience. I have excellent communication (oral and written) skills, interpersonal skills, team working skills, and listening skills.
I have interned in law firms, worked as Legal Researcher with legal research organisations, and worked as Legal Assistant to a High Court Judge. I have taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and assisted them with their research works. I have also invigilated examinations, published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at conferences. I have experience organising academic events such as conferences, workshops and seminars, and have facilitated workshops. I have experience working with charities and non-governmental organisations.
