About Andrei
I am looking to be a dedicated Primary School Mathematics tutor committed to helping students build strong foundations and confidence in the subject. My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning pace. I focus on step-by-step explanations, systematic problem-solving techniques, and consistent practice to ensure full understanding rather than memorization.
I am patient and responsible. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop confidence and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

I believe that every child can do well in Mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on:
Building strong fundamentals – I ensure students fully understand basic concepts before moving on to more advanced topics.
Step-by-step explanations – I break down problems into simple, manageable steps so students don’t feel overwhelmed.
Guided practice – I work through examples together with the student before letting them try independently.
Typical Lesson Length:
1 to 1.5 hours per lesson
Qualifications & Experience:
A grade in PSLE Mathematics
A grade in O-Level Mathematics
Graduate of Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a GPA of 3.84
While I do not have formal tutoring experience yet, I have consistently helped my younger siblings with their mathematics, guiding them through homework, exam preparation, and difficult topics. This experience has helped me develop patience and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
