I like to describe myself as an extremely friendly and understanding person, always willing to help, whether it's classmates in lessons, or younger students through in-school mentoring. Having achieved a grade nine in maths, further maths, physics, and more, at GCSE, I have first-hand experience in reaching the much-desired top grades.

When tutoring my students, I always aim to try and understand the underlying root of any confusion. This then allows me to directly counter and solve any issues faced by the student. Lessons will typically last half an hour, however this can be negotiated depending on the specific needs of each student. Within this time, I will use my own GCSE notes in order to explain the content and allow the student to copy them down, before we then apply and strengthen this knowledge in example/ exam style questions, both together and independently.
Nevertheless, lesson structures are adaptable; I can shift focus from content revision (a standard lesson) to homework or exam style questions, reflecting the needs of the student.
