About Luz
I am Luz, a psychologist with a Master’s in Special Educational Needs, currently residing in the United States. I communicate in English daily, but I have a perfect command of Spanish, my native language. With over 10 years of experience in education, I have worked in elementary group classes, individual tutoring on school subjects, speech therapy, English lessons, and other educational needs. I enjoy working with adults because the learning process is very quick; however, my true passion lies with children and teenagers. I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential.

In my English lessons, if we’re not focused on conversational practice, we choose from various interesting topics or let students select subjects they want to research. This way, we can have engaging discussions in future classes.
I hold a degree in psychology and a Master's in Educational Special Needs, which allows me to create a supportive learning environment for all students. I’m also willing to assist with any elementary school topics, as I primarily taught 3rd to 5th grade.
Additionally, I cover current events to help students learn vocabulary they can use in their daily lives. Throughout the lessons, I assess each student’s language level to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous progress.
