About Julie
Former teacher-researcher at a university abroad, I have over 9 years of experience in education. I am now a photographer and love to combine my passion for beautiful pictures and for sharing knowledge with a motivated student. Teaching photography allows me to combine both with some freedom! It is not about marks anymore, but about developing an interest, a sensitivity to see the birth of a personal style.

I am a professional photographer specialising in portrait and food photography. My classes are for the ones who just bought a new camera (DSLR, hybrid) and who do not know yet how to use it properly (too many buttons everywhere!). They are also targeting the ones who would like to improve the quality of their pictures, without too much technique, with a very practical approach. Each course focuses on different themes, we start exploring Lyon with our cameras and work together on the theme of the day (focus, speed, color, composition, various themes: street photography, landscape, etc.). This allows student to progress quickly, without too much theory. We also have a look at the images, to analyze the student's pictures, to find directions to make progress. We can also analyse the images of photography masters. The post-treatment will not be forgotten and the student will learn the basics of developing the image. The class provides regular monitoring throughout the year to enable students, whatever their age and level of practice, to progress, to find their style and above all give them the means to create the pictures he or she always wanted to do!
