About Berlyn Mae
Kumusta! Ako si Teacher Mae! I’m a native Tagalog speaker and Filipino tutor who is passionate about helping learners speak Tagalog naturally and confidently. I’m also a native Bisaya/Cebuano speaker and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education student with experience teaching English to young learners.
In my lessons, you’ll learn more than just vocabulary and grammar. I focus on practical conversations, pronunciation, everyday Filipino expressions, and real-life situations. I use engaging conversations, role-plays, guided practice, and interactive activities tailored to your level and goals.

I teach Tagalog in a practical, friendly, and easy-to-understand way. My lessons focus on real-life communication, so you can learn useful vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and everyday expressions that you can actually use. I use conversations, role-plays, guided practice, and interactive activities while adjusting each lesson to your level, goals, and learning pace.
Whether you’re learning Tagalog for travel, work, relationships, daily conversations, or personal interest, I’m here to help you speak with more confidence. I mainly teach adults and professionals, but I also welcome children and teenagers.
