About Benjamin
My approach to teaching singing is rooted in creating a personalized and encouraging environment where your voice and artistry can thrive. I design lessons to align with your specific goals—be it building technical proficiency, increasing vocal range, or preparing for auditions and performances. You are encouraged to bring music that reflects your personal taste and cultural background, ensuring our sessions are engaging and meaningful. We combine technical exercises such as breath control, pitch accuracy, and tone shaping with imaginative practices like vocal improvisation, storytelling, and imagery to deepen your emotional connection to the repertoire. I remain attentive to your physical and emotional state, adjusting exercises to include calming breathwork or dynamic vocal drills as necessary. My goal is to cultivate a safe, judgment-free space where you feel confident to experiment and grow as a singer. Together, we develop a practical practice routine tailored to your lifestyle that promotes consistent progress and motivation. In addition to solo work, I offer coaching in harmony singing, songwriting, and stage presence to help you become a confident and versatile artist. Whether singing is a personal passion or professional pursuit, I am committed to supporting your artistic growth.

The art of singing combines the physical discipline of vocal technique with the emotional depth of storytelling and the rich tapestry of cultural traditions. My teaching philosophy focuses on Technical Foundation, Artistic Expression, Cultural Respect, and Personal Growth.
Technical Foundation includes breath management, pitch control, tone development, and vocal flexibility, all taught with an emphasis on health and longevity. I tailor exercises to meet each student’s needs, encouraging mindful practice and self-awareness. Artistic Expression is cultivated by encouraging students to connect with lyrics and music emotionally, using improvisation and interpretation techniques to make each song their own. Cultural Respect plays a vital role as I introduce students to diverse musical styles and backgrounds, fostering empathy and understanding through informed repertoire choices.
Personal Growth is supported by setting individualized goals, developing effective practice routines, and nurturing a positive mindset. Through ongoing encouragement and feedback, I create a safe, inspiring space where students develop as well-rounded musicians, confident in their voice and artistry.
