Hello! I'm a CELTA-qualified English tutor with an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics, an MA in English Literature, a PGD in ELT, and a B.Ed. With extensive experience teaching learners of different ages and levels in schools, colleges, and community settings, I specialise in ESOL, IELTS, GCSE English, and Functional Skills English.
My lessons are friendly, structured, interactive, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, prepare for an exam, or build confidence in everyday communication, I will create a personalised learning plan to help you achieve your goals.

I hold multiple English teaching qualifications, including an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics, CELTA, MA English, PGD-ELT, and B.Ed, and I have extensive experience teaching ESOL, IELTS, GCSE English, and Functional Skills English.
My lessons incorporate interactive activities, real-life situations, and digital learning tools to make complex language points easier to understand and remember.
I also guide students towards high-quality self-study resources so they can continue improving their English independently beyond the classroom and achieve faster progress.

My usual rate is £20 per hour for regular lessons of 1–2 hours per week.
For intensive or fast-track courses with longer weekly study hours, the hourly rate may be higher, but I am happy to discuss and negotiate fees based on your needs and circumstances.
