About Felix Martinez
Worked as a teacher and Speaking examiner at:
English Training - An English academy/exam preparation centre located in Ceuta, Spain. I taught B1 and B2 (specifically APTIS and Cambridge English exams preparation) for a full academic year. I also assisted my partner (teacher) at certain moments of the week as an Speaking examiner (Cambridge English and APTIS exams).
Personal use of English:
I have worked in the music industry for 8 years now, where I have to use my english for networking purposes, on a daily basis.

Musician and advanced English user.
Currently living in Barcelona.
Passionate about English, the language itself really inspires and motivates me, therefore I’m always excited to use it and teach it.
The classes are designed for students who want to get a B1, B2 and C1 level of English. Online classes are held in Google Meet (videocall and shared screen) / presential classes are held at the student's house or anywhere else (at the student's request).
I have a communicative approach; I don’t have a script, but I like to get a conversation topic going with the student because that’s what makes them come out of their shell. The goal is to make them understand and get comfortable using English.
I like to include some grammar and vocabulary in between exercises during the class. Afterwards, I give specific homework to the student (book-related). I find that it is enough material to work on.
I am acutely aware of mistakes Spanish learners tend to make and have extensive experience correcting them, as I myself had to overcome these obstacles in the first place.
