About JIREH
I won a tutor's award at the Air Force Institute of Technology, taking Engineering and Mathematics Courses for Free.
Day in and day out, this shows the passion I have for imparting knowledge. I also work directly with JSS and SSS students, who are preparing for JAMB, WAEC and NECO, which gives me an up-to-date, firsthand understanding of the current national curriculum and the exact areas where students struggle the most.
Why do I teach? I teach because I know what it feels like to sit in a classroom feeling completely overwhelmed by numbers and variables. I remember the exact moment a patient mentor (Supreme Okoh) who was also my teacher, helped me see the beauty in Mathematics and Physics, and it completely changed the trajectory of my life. I want to be that turning point for your child. There is no greater professional joy for me than watching a student’s face light up when they finally solve a Physics or Math problem they thought was impossible. Seeing their anxiety transform into a big smile and newfound confidence is exactly why I wake up every day excited to teach. I am fully committed to investing my time, energy, and heart into helping the next generation master these vital subjects and achieve their academic dreams.

My approach to private tutoring is simple: I don’t just teach the subject; I teach the student. In a crowded school classroom, it is incredibly easy for a student to get left behind when a teacher moves too fast. In my private lessons, the student is the center of attention. I use a highly interactive, step-by-step breakdown method. Instead of forcing students to memorize formulas, I show them why the formula works using practical, everyday examples.Because we will be meeting online via smartphone (using WhatsApp Video or Google Meet), I keep my sessions dynamic. I use clear visual aids, simple digital whiteboards, or live pen-and-paper demonstrations so the student can watch me solve equations in real time
