About Kiki
We’ll work together to make sure your literature skills are the best they’ve ever been. I can help with reading, comparative literature, proof reading, and overall development of your personal voice. When people feel judged, they can’t read or write the way they want too. With my method, we’ll find a way to make you or your child feel confident, and able to bring your literature skills outside of session. You’ll become an independent English scholar inside and outside of session.

We’ll work at your pace, using the resources you currently have to expand on what we need to do moving forward. I’ll help you make a plan, setting specific goals for us to meet. You decide the goals, and I set the specific study for us to meet them.
If you’re a parent seeking better reading skills or literacy to help your child, or seeking to expand your child’s knowledge, I can help with that too. I have experience working with students from ages 5 to 18, and specialize in finding ways to make writing fun and relatable. Literature is all about finding your own inner voice, but a tutoring session needs to feel fun for us to do that.
I can assist college students, graduate students, or working professionals seeking to better emails, essays, or even grant work skills. For comparative essays, we’ll work together out of the book to find relevant quotes and weave together the narrative of your essay. Each essay, whether at an undergraduate or graduate level, is about finding your own voice to convey the material. We’ll find what is objective about the text, and look deeper to find the best ways for you to explain your view points. In a graded setting, I can guarantee a grade point raise of at least two- that’s a C to an A!
