About Oisin
My name is Oisín, I am a trainee accountant that successfully passed the CAP2 exams and is currently working towards my FAEs. I have a degree in Accounting & Finance (First) from DCU, where I tutored members of the A&F soc on Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. I have years of experience in tutoring, this includes both secondary level and college level. I take an exam-based approach and consult with the student in order to find the areas they struggle in, but also the areas they aren't finding as difficult, but where they may be leaving marks on the table. I have found that by not only focusing on the weak areas students can boost their grade by simply changing their technique in the areas which they are stronger. I approach the weaker areas by determining the exam importance and prioritizing them as such in order to maximize the value of their study by how the exam is weighted.
