Hello, I’m Yijing from Lanzhou, China—an important stop on the ancient Silk Road, rich in cultural heritage. As a Chinese teacher, I am deeply passionate about teaching. I also love reading, exploring Chinese historical stories, beautiful classical poetry, historical figures, the evolution of Chinese characters, and traditional Chinese clothing. Therefore, I can not only make learning Chinese interesting for you but also integrate culture into teaching, guiding you to explore the mysterious and fascinating world of Chinese culture.
Professional Background: I graduated from the School of International Business and Trade at Chongqing Normal University with a bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and hold a CET-4 certificate and a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate Level 2 Grade A. This has given me a solid foundation in both linguistics and education.
Rich Teaching Experience: During my university years, I took part in a school-organized part-time program, offering one-on-one offline Chinese lessons to foreign instructors. I also assisted fellow students in passing the Mandarin proficiency test. Over the past two years, I have delivered more than 500 hours of lessons across various platforms and institutions, and have actively participated in both offline and online learning seminars. For children, I use activities like "Chinese character adventures" and teacher-student competitions to make learning playful. For adults, I design role-playing exercises, debates on social topics, and other realistic situations to help you master the language naturally—no more dull memorization.
