About Helene
Hello! I’m a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Taiwan with a passion for languages and teaching.
I have experience helping students learn languages in a supportive and structured way, and I understand the challenges learners face because I am also learning foreign languages myself. This allows me to explain Mandarin clearly and patiently from a learner’s perspective.
I teach fluently in Korean and Japanese, and I can communicate at a basic level in English and French, which helps students from different backgrounds feel comfortable during lessons. My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where students can build confidence and enjoy the process of learning Mandarin.
I especially enjoy helping students improve their speaking skills and use Mandarin naturally in real-life situations, whether for daily conversation, travel, cultural interest, or personal growth.
