I offer three specialized Mandarin tracks tailored to your specific goals:
1. Essay Writing (For Chinese & Secondary School Students)
Writing a strong essay requires more than just good vocabulary; it requires a solid framework. I help secondary school students tackle their exams by providing reliable mental models and step-by-step writing structures. We will focus on:
- Brainstorming strong, relevant points.
- Structuring paragraphs logically for maximum marks.
- Expanding vocabulary and using proper idioms (Chengyu).
- Continuous feedback loops on practice essays.
2. Conversational Speaking (For Non-Native Speakers)
Always wanted to speak Mandarin but felt too intimidated? We will start from scratch in a zero-pressure, friendly environment.
- Language Bridge: I can conduct these sessions entirely in English or Bahasa Malaysia to help you understand the concepts clearly.
- Focus: Practical daily conversations, mastering Pinyin, and getting your tones right without the stress of formal exams.
3. Guided Reading (Let’s Read Books Together!)
If you want to improve your character recognition and reading flow, let's read together! This is a relaxed, immersive session where we pick a book suited to your level.
- We will read out loud to practice pronunciation.
- I will pause to explain character meanings, grammar structures, and cultural context.
- Perfect for building a long-term reading habit and naturally absorbing the language.
My Methodology:
1. For Exam Students: Highly structured, practical, and results-oriented. I provide the templates; you learn how to apply them.
2. For Non-Native & Casual Learners: Interactive, conversational, and highly encouraging. Mistakes are welcomed here—that is how we learn!
