About Amy

Hello! I’m Amy, a native Mandarin speaker from Malaysia. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language Studies (Honors) and have two years of part-time teaching experience. I can also speak English and Malay fluently, which helps me communicate effectively with students from different backgrounds. Even though I’m still a student, I’m passionate about teaching and love sharing my knowledge of Mandarin. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and stress-free. I’m responsible, punctual, and always do my best to support my students. I also see myself as a learner—we grow and improve together through every lesson.

About the lesson

Each lesson is about 60 minutes and designed based on your level and learning goals. I focus on all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—using fun and interactive methods such as games, storytelling, and real-life examples. I also use tools like PowerPoint and Wayground to make lessons more engaging and effective.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners of all ages. Whether you’re learning Mandarin for school, work, travel, or personal interest, I will customize the content to fit your pace and needs. Don’t worry about making mistakes—we are here to learn and grow together in a relaxed, supportive environment!
