About Cathy
As a CEGEP graduate going into university, I accumulated a lot of experience from tutoring in high school and CEGEP (as well as explaining concepts to my sister at home). I am able to find various ways to simplify concepts by thinking from the perspective of the student.

Hi :) my name is Cathy and I started tutoring peers in secondary 1, giving me 7+ years of experience. Since then, I have been helping students improve in Maths, French, and Mechanics (CEGEP course).
Some information about my lessons:
- Start by assessing the student's strengths and weaknesses
- Make sure the student understands the basic concepts and build from the fundamentals
- Review materials learned (including past assignments, exams, etc.) and answer questions when arise
- Provide tricks and tips
- For students in primary school or high school (mostly Quebec curriculum) -- I went to Collège Sainte-Anne de Lachine for high school, as well as Marianopolis College for CEGEP
