- Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a PhD in Chemistry and a 1st Class Masters (Hons) in Chemistry and Astrophysics in addition to Qualified Teacher Status.
- How much do you charge?
The first session is entirely free.
Remaining sessions are from £25 to £80 an hour depending on requirements. Discounts are available for group lessons.
- Where do you teach?
I teach in students' own homes and study centres around the region. I am willing to travel up to 10 miles but also further afield by agreement.
- When are you available?
All year - weekdays, weekends and school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach ages 13 upwards.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
All science qualifications from all major examination boards including IGCSE courses.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Online tutoring is easily done using online whiteboards such as BitPaper and Zoom, graphics tablet, quality webcameras and microphone headset. All session are fully interactive and recorded so can be played back at a later date.
