I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Pure Mathematics. My passion lies in helping students not only understand mathematics but also see its applications in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence and machine learning. Over the years, I’ve guided future data scientists and AI developers in mastering the mathematical concepts that power intelligent systems.
I focus on areas such as gradient descent and optimization algorithms, which are the heartbeat of training machine learning models. Linear algebra forms another cornerstone of my lessons, where we dive into matrices, vectors, and transformations that drive the mechanics of neural networks. Probability theory is also central to my teaching, especially when applied to Bayesian inference and decision-making under uncertainty.
My approach is hands-on, combining theory with problem-solving practice. I believe in building a strong conceptual foundation while always connecting abstract ideas to real-world applications. Many of my students have gone on to pursue advanced studies and careers in data science, AI, and related domains.
