My Name is Sam Zheng, I would like to give lessons to degree level of Architecture students, but all ages for the Chinese Mandarin lessons
For Architecture student, my way of teaching is by sharing and summarising the essence of the design techniques for architecture. I would also give out some tasks for my students to experiments and practice in order for them to master the technique with the theory. In addition, I would explain some of the CAD and adobe suite ,which would be beneficial for their 1 year out for work placements.
For the Chinese language lesson, I would share some very interesting personal stories how I learnt Mandarin in the past. I would also consider to teach my student by interacting them and provide visual, sounds and practices accordingly to their individual personalities. By the way, I strongly believe that in order to master a language, you need to learn the culture and history of its civilisation.
