About Shannon
Spaghetti Circus, where I trained and performed in ensemble-based acrobatics and character-driven movement. My foundation includes acrobatics, sports acro, and acroyoga practices—blending technique, trust, and creative flow in both solo and partner work. Over the years, I’ve deepened my approach through cross-disciplinary training in hand balancing, calisthenics, and movement improvisation, integrating these into bespoke coaching methods for students of all levels. In parallel, I bring over a decade of experience as a theatre and film director, working on productions that emphasise physical expression, narrative structure, and immersive staging. This background uniquely informs my ability to support performers with act creation, character development, staging, and critique—helping them craft work that’s not only technically strong but emotionally resonant and stage-ready. Whether coaching a circus act, refining physicality for film, or mentoring an emerging artist, I guide each performer through a process that combines precision, creativity, and embodied storytelling.

Circus Arts Training – Juggling, Acrobatics, Handstands & Calisthenics Looking to build strength, balance, and creative flow through circus arts? I offer personalised coaching in juggling, hand balancing, partner acrobatics, and calisthenics—rooted in years of professional physical performance, movement research, and immersive circus training. Whether you're a beginner developing coordination or a seasoned mover refining technique, I can support your journey with: 3-ball juggling, club juggling, passing, knife and torch handling Progressive handstand training: tuck-ups, pike, straddle, and one-arm prep Acrobatic drills: rolls, headstands, partner balances, and sports acro basics Strength and control through planche progressions, levers, and functional calisthenics Act building: staging, character development, and performance critique for circus, dance, or physical theatre Sessions are fully tailored, ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, and designed for all levels—from youth performers to adult movers, athletes, and artists preparing for stage or auditions. I integrate breath, precision, and creative flow to help you not only train like a circus artist, but perform like one.
