I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer. I have been working in the industry for more than 5 years now.
I love teaching and I have been a teaching assistant in my university for Database Management Systems, Data Structures & Algorithms.
My main field of interest is Backend Development and Machine Learning.
During my college, I have actively participated in coding competitions like Google KickStart and Facebook HackerCup, where I ranked among the top participants globally.
These experiences have not only deepened my own coding skills but have also equipped me with valuable insights that I love sharing with my students.
My tuition method is adaptable to the needs and main difficulties of each student, while also making sure that the basics are properly understood.
I like above all to help students and, during this process, to create a good friendship.
As I always enjoyed helping colleagues during classes, I decided to apply so I could share my knowledge with more people.
Expect yourself to be able to create simple projects after a few lessons.
If you have any question, feel free to ask me.
As a Senior Software Engineer, I can help you traverse the exciting world of web development, from frontend to backend. I can help in mastering Data Structures and Algorithms for acing interview preparation.
My commitment to empowering students goes beyond the classroom. Students can reach out for resolving doubts even after classes. Many of the students I mentor go on to work as software engineers, with others pursuing further study and careers in teaching and research.
Review
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to real lessons experienced by the students of Chinmay.
Perfect! Chinmay’s C++ lessons helped me move beyond just syntax to truly understanding how to solve problems. He breaks down complex topics into simple steps and explains clearly - much better than typical uni lectures.
He takes helpful notes during class (including screenshots and explanations) and sends them by email afterward. While he charges for lessons, he offers free help outside class for small coding issues via text.
Chinmay is patient, supportive, and always gives advice for improving in the long run - not just fixing the current problem.View more reviews
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor
Chinmay taught Python Programming Fundamentals, Data Structures in Java, and Algorithms during my second and third years in Computer Science. In Python class, he made the tricky stuff easier to get. When we jumped into Data Structures in the second year, even though we switched to Java, Chinmay kept it practical. Real-world examples made it less of a headache and more applicable to actual coding.
The Algorithms class in Java got serious. Chinmay's focus on problem-solving wasn't just for exams; it helped in real-world problem-solving too and eventually helped me in cracking internships.
He was cool about answering questions, whether it was in class or outside regular hours.
Looking back, I find taking Chinmay's classes in the second and third years was a smart move.View more recommendations
