About Sarah
My goal for all students by the end of the tutoring sessions is to demonstrate growth in Social Studies and to instill confidence in their ability to succeed. I believe that if students feel confident that they can achieve, then they will. I will always come prepared to support your goals and listen to what you need to achieve them.

My lessons will be tailored to the desired subject as well as preferred interests and learning styles. For example, if a student is a visual learner, then my lessons will be based on images and drawing out key vocabulary words and concepts. If a student is a kinesthetic learner, then my lessons would be role-playing key vocabulary and concepts. I taught Social Studies for 2 years, utilizing different ways of teaching the same ideas (drawing, research, videos, roleplaying). My lessons are tailored towards grades 3-12, AP and honors classes, and lower-level college.
