About Quinn
During my years as a chef, and later as a hotel general manager, I have crossed paths with many different individuals from virtually every corner of the globe. I have observed that the one thing that unifies us as a species is our desire to be treated with respect. I believe it is important teach every individual without ever losing sight of this fact.
I know that in my own travels, in Europe and Asia, I have appreciated every instance when someone cared enough to help me with their language without making me feel silly or stupid. I think that people should be able learn in a safe environment where everyone’s self-esteem is valued.

I believe that one on one instruction is the fastest and most effective way for an individual to refine their English language skills. Immediate reinforcement and gentle correction is crucial to the new language acquisition process.
I focus predominantly on “real world” conversational exercises and take special care to address and explain the eccentricities, and dialectical differences, of American English.
