My lessons are not simply slide shows and narration, I will create specific lesson geared towards your individual learning goals. After completing a pre-knowledge check at the start of our session, I will be able to tailor content and pacing structure to meet you where you are in the subject of English. Each lesson is structured with the end goal in mind - how we get there, how long it will take, and what mastery of that goal can look like. Even though the majority of my teaching career focused on Secondary grades (Freshmen - Seniors in high school), I also have experience teaching middle school and junior high and can adjust my tutoring approach as needed. The lessons are aligned with Texas state standards -the TEKS - which are measurement tools to craft lessons with progressive objectives.
